Nestled in the very heart of Tignes Val Claret, the hotel les Suites is the first 5-star hotel in the resort. It houses 24 comfortable and adaptable suites, from 22 to 75 m2, which can be modulated into 31 rooms.
Previously called Les Suites du Nevada since 2007, the hotel underwent a total facelift in 2016 with a brand new design to become the Hôtel Les Suites.
Situated close to both the ski slopes in winter and many activities when summer returns, the hotel is the perfect spot to fully enjoy an unforgettable stay between lakes and mountains and to take full advantage of all the activities the Vanoise National Park has to offer.
Each suite has been subtly and tastefully decorated by Catherine Bouvier who skilfully mingles local craftsmanship and contemporary art.
Ideally located in the centre of the resort, the Suites are close to our other hotels and residences, to our event venues and located within a 5-minute walk of the meeting point of our ski/snowboard groups and lessons.
Our room selection is made of spacious and very comfortable rooms and suites available on a bed & breakfast basis, in single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy.
Our guests staying in the hotel Les Suites will get free admission to the amazing hotel relaxation area: the swimming pool will seduce you with its original architecture unless you prefer to relax in the turkish baths or the saunas after a good day of skiing.
The gastronomic restaurant URSUS
Clément Bouvier’s love for gourmet cuisine started at a very young age. First alongside his grandparents and then with his parents, cooking became an obvious choice to him very early on.
After gaining experience abroad, from New York to Shanghai, and then a few years working with great names in cuisine such as René and Maxime Meilleur or Jean-François Piège, he fulfilled his dream of launching his own restaurant.
This is how Clément embraced the family adventure in Tignes by opening the URSUS restaurant in November 2017, in the heart of the resort.
Clément Bouvier’s cuisine pays a veritable tribute to the region by subtlety bringing out the quintessence of local products. It is inspired by long hikes through the mountains and picking what the forest has to offer. It promotes the richness of Savoie’s regional products and the very specific know-how of the various producers in the region with whom the Chef nurtures a close and genuine relationship.
In all his creations, the Chef pays particular attention to praising the work of each and every one of his producers as well as underlining the high quality of their products. Without them nothing would be possible. The creation process always follows the same path: consulting local producers and taking inspiration from seasonal products. Then, little by little, flavours are revealed and the creation takes form.
URSUS is the Latin name for the last breed of brown bears in Savoie, the Ursus Arctos.

The Whitney bar
After a day spent skiing, the Whitney Bar is the ideal place for an afternoon snack, a drink before dinner in the Ursus restaurant, or to finish the evening with one of our delicious cocktails.
Our head barman will be delighted to make you your own special cocktail, according to your tastes, your meal and what is in season. He will always come up with something new and surprise you with unexpected ingredients.
The Whitney Bar, situated at the heart of the hotel, echoes the relaxed and family spirit that can be found in all our establishments.
